Are you stuck in a routine of working out constantly and trying to eat right but not making progress?

One of the KEY things I find with a lot of people who are in this situation is lack of focus.
-
What do I mean when I say “focus”?
-
In fitness, perfecting one or two small things in your nutrition or training can be a MASSIVE difference maker.
-
This requires focusing on the things that will actually move the needle.
-
This also requires IGNORING the other bullshit that keeps you distracted, such as:
-
***Doing a million exercises at the gym
***Switching from program to program over and over again
***Eating high protein one day, keto one day, no fat one day, etc.
***Being cardio-obsessed and then going into all powerlifting
-
There’s so many ways people can work out, train and exercise to lose weight and become fit, but you can’t do all of it and expect it to work.
-
Focus on one or two things, master them, and THEN start incorporating more.

The #1 thing that I see that keeps people from being able to achieve their result is that they don’t believe they can do it.
-
If you’re 100 lbs overweight it’s hard to imagine having a 6 pack.
-
If you wear a size 44” jeans, it’s hard to imagine wearing 34” jeans.
-
Likewise, if you make $40k a year, it’s hard to imagine making $200k a year.
-
I get it, I’ve been there. We are conditioned to expect no more than what we have and what we are used to.
-
But that is LITERALLY the thing that I see hold so many people back from getting the body of their dreams, and all the amazing benefits that come with that.
-
It’s just belief in the vision.
-
If you can TRULY believe in the vision that you will be successful in losing the weight, and creating the level of fitness that you desire, then you’re ahead of 99% of everyone else.
-
Ignore the ridicule, the snarky remarks from your coworkers and friends, and just fucking believe.

Some things never change.
-
Like the fact that everyone is so damn busy, it’s hard to find time to do anything new.
-
But that’s just it...we don’t ever “find” time.
-
Time isn’t just sitting there hidden behind something waiting for us to find it.
-
There’s only 24 hours in a day. We will never find more!
-
But what I’ve found over the years with people who are able to be incredibly successful in fitness despite their responsibilities like:
-
1️⃣ Working a full time job
2️⃣ Raising kids
3️⃣ Having a social life
4️⃣ Spending quality time with their spouse
5️⃣ Volunteering/coaching/helping others, etc.
-
All of the people I’ve known who had these things going on AND mastered their health and fitness, took control of their body and reached every goal they had, were able to this one thing:
-
Create available time.
-
That’s right. We can’t find more time, but we can create available time.
-
You have total control over your day. If you are disciplined enough, you can get up earlier, go to bed later, sacrifice unimportant time wasting activities, and CREATE the available time that you need to be successful.
-
Are you a time waster or do you create the available time you need to get the results that you want?

I was talking with someone yesterday who was mentioning how they are constantly wondering what their coworkers think about them being overweight.
-
Then it got me thinking...
-
This was me 10 years ago.
-
I used to always wonder what negative shit people were saying or thinking about me.
-
About me being overweight.
-
About me wearing huge clothes to hide myself.
-
About me eating tiny portions when I’m around people, pretending it’s the norm.
-
About me pretending to be happy and comfortable with myself.
-
Then the more I listened to this person, the more I started reliving those memories even deeper.
-
This was a terrifying moment, going back to that place that I crawled out of about 10 years ago.
-
Then as we continued to talk, I reminded them that there is a future where that never happens.
-
A future where they are so fucking confident in themself that they walk into a room and command it.
-
A future where other people are curious what they are doing to stay healthy and fit because they look incredible and are clearly much more present in conversations.
-
“That is your future”, I reminded them again.
-
This person is a current client of mine, who’s already lost 17 lbs in 7 weeks, while eating more food on a daily basis than they ever have.
-
It’s not about crash dieting, eating weird food, or spending 4 hours a day in the gym.
-
It’s about doing effective, efficient and purposeful things on a consistent daily basis that are strategically designed for that person.
-

Sooo it’s officially 2019, and much like everyone else, I have MAJOR GOALS that I will be achieving in the next 12 months.

My goals are very specific, and the reason for that is this:

Without specific goals, you won’t achieve anything.
-
Don’t believe me?

Ask yourself this...how can you achieve a goal, if you don’t know what it is?

Sure, you can make progress.
-
You can get “more fit”.
-
You can “lose weight”.

But without a goal, it’s impossible to achieve one. -
From the bottom of my heart, I implore you to PLEASE get as specific as you can with your goals.

New lifting records met, new physique objectives met, new levels of potential have been reached.

More importantly, I can confidently say that these hands have transformed the lives of others.

I have been able to help many people lose unwanted body fat, gain strength & muscle, increase flexibility & range of motion, and begin to believe in themselves at a high level for the first time in their life.

This is the result that I am proud of.

I’m just getting started.

There was a time when I despised working out.
-
I hated the whole process from packing my bag, all the way to going through the routine at the gym, to having to shower after.
-
It felt like a waste of time, and it was hard ass work.
-
Then something happened.
-
It clicked.
-
All the effort I had been putting in started to give results.
-
I was getting stronger, in and out of the gym.
-
I could start to see muscle definition, and less fat all over my body.
-
I could run a mile without feeling like I was going to die.
-
Even simple things like moving a couch in my house were SO much easier.
-
Life got better.
-
As this continued to get better and better, I also noticed my LOVE for fitness growing, to the point where I crave it and need it like a drug.
-
For me, not only is fitness now enjoyable for the results that it has brought me, but the daily dose of natural energy and clear-headedness it provides.
-
I truly think most people are capable of experiencing this, but it won’t happen without that initial grind.
-
The best way to get through that first grind phase is to not stop, EVER.
-
Brick by brick by brick, one day at a time, build the house of your dreams. 🏰 -

I remember when I hated warm weather!

I still don’t love it, I prefer to be cold 🤷🏼‍♂️
-
BUT there was a time when I truly hated warm weather because I had to shed layers of clothes.
-
I lacked confidence and self-esteem, so much so that I didn’t even like wearing a t-shirt around outside because I felt too exposed.
-
It’s very easy to layer up in the winter to “hide” your body but it’s pretty tough to do that in the summer!
-
This all changed for me once I learned how to master my body and transform it.
-
I did this through making a commitment to change, and then doing whatever the hell it took to achieve it.
-
Through mentorship and some coaching, I didn’t just achieve weight loss. I achieved TRANSFORMATION.
-
My mindset became totally different.
-
My confidence became higher.
-
My self-belief became higher.
-
I made more money.
-
I found a deeper, richer connection with my wife.
-
I became a completely different person.
-
Quite honestly, I became the person I truly wanted to be.
-
And it all started with mastering my body.
-
