  • So I thought I should post about this, not because it’s a great photo but because for me, it’s the true spirit of Christmas 🎄🤶🏼🎅🏼 Going that little bit further to try and make someone’s December a little better or easier or just to try and bring some magic to the season.... 🎁✨ I spent an evening making an Extra Special, Vegan Reese’s Advent calendar or Tiny drops of Peanut Butter Heaven as my cousin refers to them ☺️ I had to make actual full sized ones too cause, they are so moreish, I had to give the calendar a chance at lasting the month 😍😍🤤 Christmas is about making someone feel special, showing them how much you care, spending time thinking about them, not just spending your money on them. Bringing Joy to Others is what life is about!     A yummy holiday treat that your little elves and Santa will enjoy.
    .
    Ingredients:
    3/4 cup Coconut Butter (I use 'Let's do..Organic' brand & Target sells it on the baking aisle) @edwardandsons
    3 tablespoons Coconut oil
    2/3 cup melted vegan chocolate chips
    1/2 cup crushed vegan candy canes
    .
    Directions:
    .
    Place coconut butter & 2 tablespoons of the coconut oil in a saucepan over very low heat. Stirring constantly until creamy.
    .
    Pour into bowl and allow to cool slightly and then mix in crushed candy canes by hand.
    .
    .
    Scoop out desired size for truffles and form into balls.
    .
    Place each truffle in freezer for about 10 minutes.
    .
    Melt together chocolate chips and remaining tablespoon of coconut oil.
    .
    Remove truffles from freezer and dip into chocolate.
    .
    Place in refrigerator to allow chocolate to harden.
    .
    Store any leftovers in covered container in refrigerator.

    .
    **Chocolate Coating optional🍭🍭🍭.

    Heute gibt es wieder ein Rezept für den Weihnachtsteller. 🎅
    Kekse bei denen man sich so richtig austoben kann in der Dekoration.
    Die aber durch die Gewürze von Zimt und Kardamom auch ganz ohne was schmackhaft sind und sooo ganz nach Weihnachten schmecken. 😋 ❄ Zutaten
    350g Dinkelmehl typ 630
    200g gemahlene Haddelnüsse
    250g Rohrzucker
    100g Seidentofu
    250g Margarine
    1/2 TL Zimt
    1/2 TL Kardamom
    1 Prise Salz ❄ Optional für Deko

    Zartbitterkuvertüre
    1 EL Milch zum bestreichen
    Hagelzucker
    Mandelsplitter
    100g Puderzucker
    2 EL Wasser
    Zimt ❄ Zubereitung
    Alle Zutaten in eine Schüssel geben und einen geschmeidigen Mürbeteig kneten.
    Den Teig 2 Stunden in einem Kühlschrank ruhen, damit sich die Gewürze entfalten können.
    Auf einer bemehlten Arbeitsfläche den Teig ca. 5mm dick ausrollen und mit beliebigen Motiven ausstechen.
    Auf einem eingefetteten oder mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech legen.
    Jetzt könnten schon die ersten kreativen Ideen aktiv werden, zum Beispiel mit Hagelzucker bestreuen oder mit Pflanzenmilch bepinseln und Mandelsplitter belegen.
    10 - 12 Minuten bei 175 Grad / Ober- und Unterhitze backen.
    Ich persönlich mache gern einen Zimtguss dazu.
    100g Puderzucker mit 1/2 TL Zimt vermengen, 2 EL Wasser hinzufügen und zu einem dickflüssigen Guss rühren.
    Kekse bestreichen, trocknen lassen und ganz wichtig genießen.
