    The blend of architectural styles is done with the most sophistication, using modern materials like glass, steel and fabric. The roof uses textile sails consisting of self-cleaning Teflon-Coates fabric, with a translucence of 50%.

    The form and material facilitates the reflection of light across the space. Lighting designer Yann Kersalé conceptualised the roof as a projection surface for changing lighting; playing with the time of day.
