  • Sets for 4 with 75kg. While I'm not on a program till Jan I think I'll jump on a progressive 2 session program. 5x4 and then a 5x7 with an increase of 2.5kg after each successful session.

    I reckon I'll get to 85kg before I start my program in Jan.

    A los que os interesen solo los números podéis dejar de leer ya, que voy a contar un poco de esta preparación en sentadilla.

    A parte de la barrera psicológica poderosísima que tengo con los pesos de 3 cifras, hubo un detalle que @blakopower descubrió (sin querer y de casualidad) a una semana de la competición.
    Qué tengo mejor técnica en zapatillas planas que de halterofilia.

    Así a los pocos días de competir incorporamos con la aprobación de @fran5rn ese cambio y los resultados fueron satisfactorios a nivel personal a pesar de ese fallo garrafal que me arrancó ese "¡Caguendios!"

  • The thing I love most about deadlifts is you either picked it up or you didn’t. There’s no assistance, no spotter, it’s all you. It’s strength you didn’t even know you had until you do it. With that being said, if you ain’t failing you ain’t trying. Failure builds character. Didn’t get the 305 I wanted but still picked up 300, so I guess I can’t complain.

  • Today was Christmas-lift-off at the musclesmith! Finally got to lift with friends and family again and could try to smash some PR's as we semi replicated meet standarts. This was my 2nd attempt on squat, with 185 kg. Lifts went way easier with the support of those guys💪 unfortunately @floriank_pwrlft couldn't make it, but we surely will hit some new pr's together soon, stay tuned🏋️‍♂️

  • “In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present”- Francis Bacon.

    My mom use to tell me, “Don’t let negativity get you,spin it around and use it as fuel”. We all deal with negativity work, friends, family, the list goes on. But the negativity that will root itself in your mind will be a permanent fixture if you don’t learn how shut it down. You have to kill voice screaming in your head that stops you from getting started or to keep going. Don’t worry about who’s president, don’t worry about who’s at the gym, don’t worry about what family members or friends don’t understand the dream or the purpose your pushing for. As long as the man upstairs got your back and you understand, fuck what everybody else thinks. When I was younger and I went to church with my grandmother, I hated singing in Sunday school especially that song “This little light of mine”, but now that I’m older I realize that’s the most positive song ever. And it’s true, we all have a darkness but you have to let your light shine in your mind and in this world.   • First time pulling conventional since august. First video is 600, second video is 585. Back is pumped. I might stay with conventional for a bit because I'm getting some issues with sumo. Also sumo is cheating right?
