    With no advent calendar to open (thanks dad😈) I thought I’d make one.

    OWN THE DAY!

    Everyday I’ve been giving thanks to moments from my life that have led me to where I am today - Mexico City playing a lead role in a feature film due for U.S. release next year.
    .
    Just one week until Christmas!
    Christmas is an emotional time, it’s a time that family gets together and absences are noticed. My brother died when he was 19 and since then Christmas has been a mixed bag of emotions and honestly I think it always will be especially as his birthday was December 28th.
    .
    By accepting our emotions at Christmas time and by acknowledging our pain to one another, I think we find great healing in our Christmas Day as a family.
    .
    As hard as it is, i would encourage everyone to find the strength to acknowledge and accept their own pain as only then can we start to heal.
    .
    Own your day, everyday.
    Be the best version of you for yourself and for your loved ones, those you know already and those you have yet to meet.

Just one week until Christmas!
