Affrettati stanno andando a ruba! 📍 Mongrassano Scalo

  • Perfectionism is something I’ve struggled with for most of my adult life, especially when it comes to business and design. It’s something I love, but it’s also so crippling. It’s caused depression at times because I couldn’t actually execute on things like I should. It’s the reason I’ve started numerous businesses only to stop with branding and a website design. I could never launch them because I never had enough time to make them perfect enough...I literally spent a full year or two on businesses only to never launch them. With Neo Macho, I decided to just do it, to pull the trigger and launch even though the branding wasn’t totally thought out (I made the logo in 2 hours). The website is literally just a blank page with a logo and email capture. It’s not even hooked up to MailChimp yet. I don’t have the blog made, so I just used Medium, with not a single post scheduled. It’s so far from polished, but it’s published. And really it’s just me deciding to go for something I’m passionate about and figuring it out along the way. It’s been truly freeing. Sometimes I freak out that it’s not perfect and built out, but I’m trying something new and I’m tired of letting great ideas stay locked up on my computer because of my own failure to execute. It’s taken a long time to get here, but I’m thankful for the growth and the encouragement from my wife to not be such a perfectionist. She’s great at making things look good and getting them done! Thanks for joining me on this journey and being patient with the polishing process. - Ben (@benexcelsis)
