- Sometimes you just have to forget about all the mountain lion scat and take your time. You can worry about that later when you're running down after sunset.

🔹 If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options.
You can climb it and cross to the other side.
You can go around it.
You can dig under it.
You can fly over it.
You can blow it up.
You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there.
You can turn around and go back the way you came.
Or you can stay on the mountain and make it your home. -Vera Nazarian

- GUESS WHAT!? I’m moving to Texas in January for a year to work at a national historic park to do community outreach - telling people about the park and finding volunteers to give us a hand on various service projects. And I’m super nervous about it, which is a good thing cause it means I’m giving myself a challenge and will inevitably grow from it. Also there aren’t too many mountains or canyons out in Texas. But hey, the job sounds amazing and the hill country is beautiful!
