  • Ok it is a bit cold eating this in winter ❄️ ( I had to wear my @canadagoose inside! 😂) but I couldn’t resist because I really don’t know where to find #patbingsu like this in #Seattle . If anyone knows, please tell me 😝 Anyway, this cafe chain @thecupstoronto has a variety of Korean style shaved ice. We got the #injeolmibingsu which is a classic flavor of rice powder with condensed milk and tiny cubes of mochi AND their yummy black sesame with sweet red bean. So many new restaurants and not enough time 😭 #koreanfood #koreandesserts #icecream #shavedice

  • I’m wondering how you read that the first time. I think most people put their focus on the word “yet”, which makes it all about perseverance 💪🏼 Did anyone focus on the word “inexperience”? I did. Here’s why:

    Do you ever set a goal or hope for yourself, but don’t take the time to develop THE SKILL to reach your goal?? It took me 4 years of education, thousands in debt, and TEN YEARS of on the job training to get where I am today. Skilled and well paid. .
    .
    I have huge goals for my business. But it would be silly of me to expect the results of someone with 2, 3 or 10 times the experience that I have. The amazing thing about this business is, it definitely won’t take me 14 years + debt to reach my goals. Hard work and perseverance is paramount. But don’t forget about personal growth and education.   • Drum roll, please....🥁 Today was my first time ever making SWEET POTATO TOAST!!! I honestly was skeptical about how these would turn out, but they were SO GOOD. And I actually could pick them up like regular pieces of toast to eat them 🙌🙅🏼‍♀️🍴

    DEETS! Toast 1: Almond butter with sliced apple 🍎 and cinnamon. Toast 2: peanut butter 🥜 with banana 🍌 and pepitas. Toast 3: @earthbalance vegan mayo, sliced tomatoes 🍅, plus sun dried tomatoes and @traderjoes EBTB seasoning (Don’t judge me, people. Toast with mayo and tomato is a classic combo and has even been featured in @bonappetitmag ok!!!) .

    So sweet p toast is now in my repertoire and while it will not supplant traditional toast, it will supplement it. Also for anyone wondering, you obvi do not literally toast the potatoes in a toaster, you just slice them ~1/2 inch thick and roast them at 400 for like 10 min each side. Ok HAPPY TUESDAY!!!! I have a very busy day so I better hop to it.

  • I was really hoping the muffins would be pink since the batter was pink 😭 that would be SO COOL! But it’s okay, because these muffins were still soooo freaking delicious and fluffy 😍😍 every time I make these muffins, they finish in seconds 😂🙌🏼
    I also like to mention how just cause these muffins are much healthier than other muffins that contain butter, refined sugars, etc... healthier does not mean you can eat the whole batch! Even though these still contain healthier sugars, sugar is sugar and there’s always a limit! If your a sweet tooth like me, I understand how hard it is to control yourself 😂😂 but it’s important!!

    BANANA-BEET MUFFINS
    —>Ingredients:
    ✖️1 cup oats
    ✖️1 tsp baking powder
    ✖️1 tsp baking soda
    ✖️1/2 tsp cinnamon
    ✖️1 tbs @bareorganicssuperfoods beet powder
    ✖️1/4 tsp salt
    ✖️2 bananas (riper the better)
    ✖️1/4 cup maple syrup
    ✖️1 tbs coconut oil, melted
    ✖️1 egg**(vegan option below)
    **for a vegan option, you can use a chia egg or flax egg instead of a regular egg.
    —>DIRECTIONS:
    1. Preheat the oven on bake to 350 F. Grease a muffin tray with some coconut oil or whatever oil you have in hand.
    2. In a food processor or blender, first blend the DRY ingredients (oats, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, beet powder, and salt) until you get a flour-like consistency
    3. Then add in the rest of the ingredients (bananas, maple syrup, coconut oil, and egg) and blend until well combined
    4. Pour the mixture into the greased muffin tray where each “muffin hole?” on the tray is 3/4 full and top off with some cocoa nibs
    5. Bake for 30-35 min. To make sure They are cooked, put a toothpick in one and make sure no batter comes out on the toothpick
    6. Once They are cooked, allow to Cool for 10-15 min. ENJOY!
