- Wanna know My biggest "WHY" I workout?!?
To be strong ❤ To have energy for my day, my boys, my business. 💚 To not only show up in this life BUT show up as my best self. EVERYDAY. 💙 To Be happy and confident in being who I am in all its “glory” 😉 I workout because it makes me feel sooooo freakin amazing on the inside that it starts showing on the outside ... not the other way around.
And to get to that place mentally.. it takes some time my friends...when I first started working out it was all about the outside goals... which is totally OK too... Overtime, I have realized how amazing exercise makes me feel, how much it effects me, my decisions, my mood and my life. And it’s the best addiction/ medicine you will ever have!!
Regardless of WHY you starting it or want to start it now ... just now ... that if you stick with it... it will become your best medicine ever!! And if you need a workout buddy/buddies, I’m only a message away!! Let’s do this together my friends.... because TOGETHER, we are stronger and can do so much more! We start #now
And btw- this workout was seriously 20 minutes and I was a sweaty mess in the first 10, thinking to myself "holy F, how can this be real?! My step isnt even here yet!!"

- With the holidays coming up there’s a lot of social gatherings and tempting sweets/snacks and it’s easy to indulge! Honestly haven’t had a “clean eating” day since Thanksgiving I think 😂🤪
This is why I’ve been focusing so hard on Strength and Muscle building. This is why I keep lifting vs. cardio. So all these extra carbs will go towards my muscles. Yes, there may be some added fat on top 😪but there is plenty of time in the spring to burn that off. My plan is to enjoy the holidays while focusing on hitting my protein macros and then getting BACK 👏🏽ON👏🏽TRACK👏🏽 weightloss wise in the new year! .
I have to say, it was a little upsetting to weigh myself and see the highest number in 2 years on the scale this Sunday. But the holidays will truly cause a lot of bloating and water retention! It’s only Tuesday and I’m already down 5lbs from Sunday! So do yourself a favor and be kind to yourself and remember that alcohol, excess calories/carbs/sugar and sodium WILL MAKE YOU BLOAT! Drink some water and eat your veggies and you’ll be back to your “normal” weight in no time!
