  • Il fruttosio è un monosaccaride contenuto nella frutta, nei vegetali e nei dolci o nelle bevande zuccherate (come sostituto del glucosio), il fruttosio viene venduto anche nella sua forma pura come dolcificante naturale. 🍎ASSORBIMENTO:
    L’assorbimento intestinale del fruttosio è limitato a circa 40g (con variazioni interindividuali), l’assunzione di quantità superiori di fruttosio determina malassorbimento dello stesso con comparsa di sintomi quali meteorismo, flatulenza e diarrea. 🔥METABOLISMO:
    Il fruttosio presenta un basso indice glicemico, avendo una certa “indipendenza metabolica” dall’insulina.     Diversi studi hanno provato a mettere in relazione il consumo di fruttosio con l’instaurarsi di stati di obesità [Malik et al., 2006; Wolf and Dansinger, 2008; Livesey, 2009], ma con risultati non sempre omogenei e spesso contrastanti tra loro, portando alla conclusione che l’assunzione di fruttosio non incide in modo rilevante e sostanzialmente diverso, rispetto agli altri zuccheri, sullo sviluppo dell’obesità e che le cause principali di tale condizioni siano ben altre [Storey, 2008]. 🐝CONCLUSIONI:
    In conclusione si può affermare che l'ingestione di quantità eccessive di fruttosio può causare i sintomi tipici da malassorbimente e che in condizioni di BENESSERE ENERGETICO l'assunzione di fruttosio determini la conversione dello stesso in grassi e la potenziale formazione di tessuto adiposo. ~ConteM.

    Supplements such as “creatine” have chronic (long term) impact on gym performance.

    Long term use, regardless of timing will improve gym performance when used over an extended period of time.

  • Mid morning shrinker. I count this as part of my total water consumption since it’s just oolong tea with a little almond milk and the rest is water. I drink 20 Oz of water after I wake up, another 20 Oz of water during bible reading, then I drink this 32 Oz, in a few hours I will have ggms which is 32 Oz, during dinner I have 20 Oz water and then right before bed I have my last 20 Oz of water. That’s a total of 144 Oz of water! Over a gallon and it keeps me hydrated and away from mindless snacking.

    Part of health is mental health, not just physical health. Today my mental health is not where it needs to be.

    As a social worker and primary counselor, I teach my clients every day about self care. So much so that they gave me the nickname 'self care queen'. Not a bad nickname to have in my opinion! I preach all the time about self care and that everyone needs to take care of their mental health. No physical health will get better until we work on the negatives in our own mind. .

    I am exhausted and it hit me out of no where. I got to work this morning feeling miserable and couldn't figure out why. As I sit here I figured out why. I haven't been reading. I haven't been taking my nightly bubble baths. I haven't been spending time with my husband. I have been worried about money and the holidays. I have been having horrible negative self talk about my spending. I hated on my self for not loosing a pound last week. I am caring what others think of me. All of this and more, added all up to this today. After work, it's Nicole self care time. I have to put myself first, no one else. .
