  • Do I look ridiculous or what?! 🤣🤣 This get-up is a result of a dryer on the fritz, resulting in a lack of clean laundry and me raiding my daughters sock drawer for fitness socks that would help keep my legs warmer in our cold garage! 🤪 Despite the socks and a third night of virtually no sleep, I cranked out Day 5 of this AWESOME program and loved it! It’s new and fun and challenging and I look forward to my workout each day! 😃💪👊 #health #bethebestyou #challengeyourself

    Right 2019 - 59.2 years old today!
    Pretty proud of how I have made fitness/ running/triathlon/duathlon as a lifestyle choice . My weight has only fluctuated a couple of pounds over the last 37 years!! Wearing the same @saucony running tank😆!
    Been blessed to have had the durability over the last 21 years, since I started running👊💥I still have the desire to compete even into my 60th year! The pic on the left was shortly after finishing the TO marathon, and recorded my PR of 2:52:48 at almost 49! So regardless of where you think you are in your life, never sell yourself short on what you think your abilities may be! You are never to old to take on a challenge!! Hell , I’m not! So go out and slay those goals and dreams!! Wishing all a fantastic weekend full of gratitude, laughter and all around fun!!

  • First of the catch-ups from TFYT. ARMS AND CORE DAY! Public service announcement: if you are wanting to get healthier or lose weight START WITH STARTING!!! If you create a life that works around your fitness, even a little bit of time, the rest will follow. I love being in shape but I never stick with it. This time, I’m focusing on enjoying the process without any specific end goals. My progress is slower, but I really feel like I want to live this way because IT FEELS GOOD.     We’re 3 weeks into the new year...where statistically around this time, people start to give up on their goals for the new year. They’re not seeing results, they’re not feeling any better, they’re disappointed.

    Don’t. Give. Up.

    This is a friendly reminder of that promise you made to yourself to change. Whatever it may be. Whether you made a promise to lose weight, to build more muscle, or just eat healthier overall...do not let yourself down. You brought yourself this far and I promise you that in just another 8 weeks, you will be inspiring yourself with how far you’ve come!

    We all need motivation! We all need to be pushed! Now is the perfect time to do a challenge with yourself. Challenge yourself to stick to your promise. 8 weeks. Let’s do this!! 💪🏻
